Maison Réno was established in 2023 at the shared winery in Chassagne-Montrachet, a sort of incubator for young (and not-so-young) winemakers, allowing them to launch small-scale productions. After spending several summers working at a winery in Tuscany from 2014 to 2016, Réno Pacalet joined the family business (Philippe Pacalet) in 2019. He took charge, among other things, of the vinification and the monitoring of the aging process, which gave him the valuable experience needed to start his own wine trading business. To further strengthen his knowledge, he decided to pursue a BTS in Viticulture and Oenology in Beaune, which he successfully completed in 2021. Réno produces his own wines from grapes carefully selected from specific vineyards. His approach, influenced by the guidance of his father and other Burgundy winemakers, emphasizes natural practices, respect for the terroir, and the limited but effective use of sulfites. The wines are vibrant, with a special mention for the Aligoté, which will certainly leave an impression!
