Clément Leclere is based in Coulomme-la-Montagne. After gaining experience with Julien Guillot and David Léclapart, he decided to take over a few hectares of his family’s vineyards in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. From the outset, he committed to organic farming, although a challenging first vintage forced him to delay his conversion by a year. Clément cultivates the three main Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. Working within the Coulomme cooperative, he embarked on micro-vinification. He carefully selects the press fractions of his juices, allowing them to ferment with indigenous yeasts, before aging them in oak barrels. This process applies to both his still wines and his Coteaux Champenois.
