Maison des Saules is making its debut in our cellar with the 2023 vintage. We tasted the wines in early 2024 and truly enjoyed the entire range! Marc Lacroix and Anne-Cécile Daubigney are managing this small Jura estate of over 3 hectares located near Lons-le-Saunier, specifically in Perrigny. After working in an excellent restaurant in Paris, Anne-Cécile spent three years with François Rousset Martin, a Jura winemaker based near Château Chalon and a renowned local reference. Marc, on the other hand, has a slightly different background: after training at the hospitality school in Poligny, he worked as a sommelier for Anne-Sophie Pic in Valence. The vineyards are organically farmed, incorporating biodynamic practices. Vinification is carried out without additives, with aging times varying by cuvée. The estate mainly produces white wines, including a very "gourmet" cuvée called Aux Barres. Wines and craftsmanship worth discovering as soon as possible... Cheers!
