Muscat Hinterburg Sélection de Grains Nobles 2003

The Binner vineyard is primarily located in the village of Ammerschwihr, Alsace, and is farmed using biodynamic and phytotherapy methods. While most vines are around 30 years old, some plots are nearly 80. The terroirs of Katzenthal and Kayserberg also contribute to the estate's diversity. With three Grand Cru sites—Kaeferkopf, Schlossberg, and Wineck Schlossberg—and extensive expertise, the domaine crafts wines that are crystal-clear, richly smooth, and exceptionally vibrant.

As for practices, no surprises here: low yields (45 hl/ha on average, half the AOC limit), late harvests of overripe grapes, and natural vinification in a bioclimatic cellar since 2014.
