Les Miroudots - Nicolas Bernard
About twenty kilometers from Vesoul, Nicolas Bernard has revived his grandparents' farm, where he settled in 2016 after a career as an agri-food engineer. Driven by a quest for independence and deep respect for nature, he transformed the estate into a committed vineyard. Spanning 30 hectares of natural meadows and an organic orchard, the first vines were planted in 2017 on well-preserved clay-limestone soil, benefiting from a rich biodiversity. The grape varieties combine traditional and disease-resistant varieties: Auxerrois, Savagnin, Muscaris, and Souvignier Gris for whites; Syrah, Poulsard, Gamaret, Léon Millot, and Artaban for reds. Inspired by his experience with winemakers like Alexandre Bain, Nicolas embraces natural winemaking, crafting sincere wines that reflect their terroir. In just a few years, he has established himself as a figure of responsible and creative viticulture, telling through his wines the story of a preserved land and a passionate winemaker.
